Icon2 speedometer jumpy, loss of power. Itr swap

HI everyone, I have recently got my car swapped and bar'd in cali. But recently I have noticed when I get on the car the speedometer jumps around a bit and goes dead, than usually is followed by the car bogging and acting sporadic. IF anyone knows anything or has any ideas, I will greatly be in your debt.

a little info about the car. Integra gsr shell, jdm itr motor jdm ecu , jdm gauge cluster.
thank you.

Sounds like the speed sensor, but the car bogging and such, I have no clue..

I'm not fimilar with the JDM components, but do they have CEL's? Try getting the codes pulled.

Check the ground on your thermostat housing...I have seen this issue a few times...any CELs? Could also be related to a distributor issue. Good luck!

yea the vtec opens just fine just fine. I think what happens the speedometer drops off and the vtec needs the speedometer to work. than the bogging starts happening.

vtec doesn't run off of the speedo, it runs off of oil pressure and rpm's. When the conditions are met the ecu will engage vtec.
