P72 obd2 auto GSR swap?
So J-teggy just finished his Auto GSR project and OMG! I was so jealous of him, I'd almost sold my RSX for some money and do the swap!!! j/k
But lucky for me, my cousins GSR just got rear ended... he's giving me his engine for free! And now I am looking for a P72 Auto ECU for my car... At first I wanted to do a full swap (auto to manual) but that would be a little to much work and I hear tooooooo many stories about future problems with the swap... So I guess I'll just do the Auto Swap since I've always wanted it and not a lot of people has done it... (please don't flame on me)
Anyways, I came across some Automatic ECU for the Si VTEC/Sir-G (b18c) most were for obd1... but somewhat I found a obd2 ECU.
So my question is, will it work since my car is obd2 already? Will it be plug in N play?
J-teggy had to do some work on his since his car was obd2 and the ecu was obd1....
Help guys! And please try not to flame on me (which I know one of you guys will). Thanks!
