Default "Clicking" sound finally solved? Need your help!

I tried the search because I know this has been covered before, but I came up empty. I've been going nuts trying to find that stupid "click" that comes from what appears to be the wheel/brake area. Today, when I turned on the AC it clicked right away without the car in motion. I turned it off, then on..click. Ah ha! Some time ago someone said that it was the AC clutch? I don't know if that's the right term or not but I need to know what to tighten down before I start. Any help would be appreciated.

a more detailed explanation of this sound would be helpful.

also, have you tried searching the "archived" messages? the basic search only goes back so far.
