I pulled off the door panel while it was closed to see if the acuator was jammed but its not. It seems more like a mechnical problem due to weather. Anyone have any ideas to remove the door without prying the door out itself? Trying to avoide any damage as much as possible. All that happened to get the door to the way its now from his knowledge he doesn't know. Did not slam the door nor was the door sagging. Any input would be appreciated.

 

my door did this too, i just eventually had to take back as much of the inner door panel as i could that used a torch on the lockin mechanism itself inside the door jamb, and i melted off the plastic retaining piece on there and with like 2-3 hard pulls and kicks it popped open... got a new door jamb piece at junkyard for $5 bucks... works like a charm now..

 

my plastic door jam peice is stuck in the "lock" position...how can i unlock it?
