Default No Start obd1 B16a

well my car was runnin decent when i pulled it in the garage, swapped out spark plugs and also put a new ect sensor in it, well FIRST i need a connecter for the ect sensor from the harness my wires came off the connecter so keeping in mind its obd1 i started the car after i put in the spark plugs and i got a check engine for the ect sensor since its reading out of range but my question is could disconnected ect sensor cause a misfire? let alone now a no start it only cranks over..? any ideas..?

I'd check the gap on the spark plugs.
