Default Will unplugged secondary o2 affect performance?

My secondary o2 sensor(in the cat) broke and I was wondering if running with it unplugged will hurt performance.

it will throw a CEL, and run in sort of a limp mode, your milage will suffer, and maybe some driveability problems will occur, get it fixed ASAP

Ummm I thought that only happened with the primary o2 sensor? My car engages into VTEC fine and revs just as high as normal.

the secondary o2 sensor is there to see if the cat is working properly, if you un-hook it, then it runs of a pre-set mode, i guess if you guys like having your cars run w/ CEL on, then i guess thats fine

or you could fix it for $60, and not worry about ******* up your cat converter.

Trust me, I did the same thing when I installed my exhaust.
