Default Front suspension question

Hello everyone I'm new on this forum and I see all these fast cars around here. Would like to know your opinion on the front suspension setup. What is the best mode for the best 60 ft there? pictures would be great.
Thanks in advance

I'm building drag car. The back is up and stiff, the front is at normal hight so that drive shafts are parallel to the ground and not stiff. But the main queastion would be about compression struts, use them or not? and what way is the best to mount them?

You're going to want the proper valving so the car will transfer weight properly, and not fall back on it's face during a shift or interrupt in power. Good looking on having it at a height where the driveshafts are aligned, not many people comprehend that!

Take a look at the race coverage of the faster cars, you'll notice they sit fairly flat, not jacked up in the rear. Then watch the video's, notice how when they shift gears the nose doesn't drop. If the rear springs are to stiff, they push the nose back down, then the power has to be used to raise it back up again. That power can be put to better use...

the Idea of raising the back of it was to thansfer the weight more to the front. Also I was thinking to lean the engine to the front more, to have more weight over the front wheels. I think that's why you all fast guys mount the batteries at the front right?
But anyway what about compression struts? I was advised to dump my ARB and put compression struts instead. But you guys mount them going from TCA to the front of the car. I was adviced to do it the other way so that they go to the back of the car. What do you think about that?

They probably mount the battery at the right front for better weight balance, I have never corner balanced my car but I am pretty sure once your sitting in the seat that there is alot more weight on the drivers side of the car than the passengers side.

thats why you drag your girlfriend out in the garage so you can sit in the seat and she can run the scales while balancing it.

Both the front and back need to have the proper valving, one is no good without the other.

Rocking the motor forward is a very good idea, but more so for the drive shafts to be straight. The mounting point is still the same, and the amount of adjustment you would need will make the weight transfer negligible. Don't worry too much about the weight thing, putting a huge battery in my car up front from the tiny one on the firewall didn't do anything for me that produced an end result.

You need a custom/drag valved shock, a properly setup traction bar and a good tire.

What's your budget and such? And what does the car have now and what is it 60 footing currently? The more background we have the more help we can give

The problem is it's not honda, but I know you civic guys being the fastest in FWD cars, so I came to this forum for help
The other problem we don't have profesional drag strip so we do run on simple asfalt on old airport.
At the moment I run 24,5 M/T tires on 700 kg car with 280 Bhp with all the above mentioned modes. My best time this season was 12,39 @ 189 kmh with 2,03 60 ft. I know it's not to good looking at you guys, but still I do own best 60 ft on our track among FWD cars. Anyway I think it could be improoved and I feel like I came to the right place for the advice
Feel free to teach me

Right on, yea those air strips def aren't too friendly!

A 2.0 on them isn't terrible per say, how much tire pressure are you running?

What suspension are you on currently? For curiosity what make of car is it? You guys have lots of cool race cars we have never seen before

It's a europe make ford escort that originaly came with 1,6 turbo (132 bhp), now with my own build 2.1 Zvh turbo in it
The tire preassure is a question too. I tried different combinations and stayed on 0,8 Bar (that 11 psi IRC) Is it what I should run onthem tires?
