Default rich vs. lean

i know running lean is very bad for your motor. on my si, my motor runs very rich after the v-tech opens up. it runs very strong for a 1.6 but is running too rich bad for your motor as well?

It's normal for your car to run rich at vtec. Running rich will not damage your motor, it just makes it slowwwwwwwwwww...
