Default Si wiring harness into DX?

I've tried searching but couldn't get a clear answer so here I am.

I'm looking to convert to MPFI so I can install a B18A in my '90 Wagon. I also happen to have a '90 Si parts car with an intact harness.

I know the engine harness won't work on it's own, but is it possible to swap the Si engine AND cabin harness into my wagon? I would really prefer an OEM quality harness.

Option-wise the only difference is the Si's sunroof but I'm sure that I could de-pin that part of the harness. Otherwise it's all the same.

it is possible to change your cabin and engine harness but this is what u have to wire up which is no problem if your car is fully gutted unless you are up for the work imo it is better to convert the DX harness and make it look as stock as possible but hey whatever rocks your boat

haha that sure is a fustercluck.

but yea what he said. as long as you swap the Si cabin harness as well, then you'll be fine.

It's good to know that it would work, even if it's a lot harder.

I know that in the long run converting the DX harness would be easier, but I know that I could never really be satisfied with the quality of work I would do, and I can't justify paying someone when I've got a free Si harness right there.

i have a 91 dx runnung a complete 89 si harness. trust me, its not worth it. your better off just doing the mpfi conversion. i also know some dx dont have a rear wiper while the si does.

is it really that hard to pull out the interior harness? do you even have to use the whole thing i mean cant you just use the interior underdash harness and the engine harness to complete a mpfi. when i say underdash i mean the one that runs along the bottom of the floorboard connecting to the ecu not the one connected to the actual dash for the clock and all that.

i guess the only reason why i ask is because i am also doing a b series swap (gsr). when i bought the motor it came with the si harness and my car is a dx. like you guys said it might be easier to just convert the dx but why cut and splice when i could just get an interior harness from an si and just add plugs that are needed.

I thought about doing that myself since I have a Y49 parts car, and a DX Civic. But I don't have the patience for the clusterfcuk of wires...
