You think ? Seriously search around and see why this site went to hell. From banning members that wouldn't pay there outrageous advertising fees, but still used there company as there username . They called us ( RCautoworks ) and told us, if we were such a big supporter on the honda-tech community, we wouldn't mind paying $275 a month (3,300 a year ) for advertising.

 

Where is everyone going to end up now? I went from the CRX Community back in 2003 to this... now what?

It's a real shame to be honest. I think IB got so spoiled by the loyalty of the users of Honda-Tech, took advantage of the sponsors of the site, then made a dictator type of decision to save a few bucks. But what can we do, it's a free message board to use and we are at their mercy.

Maybe someone or a group of people can start their own "tech" message board using a better message board system that will have the feel of the old Honda-Tech. I'm sure that there would be sufficient sponsors/advertisers/shops that would help defray the cost of running the board. Just my 2 cents.

I personally am going to save my personally created threads and info, and make sure it is exported to the fabled other site. BTW, wonder over to GDD, some interesting people have become temporarily unbanned. As such, use the Marketplace at your own risk now.
