98 honda prelude swap with h23a3...help

Default 98 honda prelude swap with h23a3...help

alright got my engine in made my self a harness for using an odb1 dizzy on my odb2 car... put my h22a4 head on the bottom end of a h23a3 swaped out many parts and using an h23 tranny i am not throwing any codes.. but car wants to turn over has spark now but will not actually run in anyway... the only things that i have odb1 are the bottom end and a dizzy that i rigged for an external coil... not sure if i should switch the ecu to odb1... need some help will be trying compression test soon...

Are you using the H22a4 lower crank gear for the timing belt? Also yes if you're going with obd1 stuff(dizzy and cps sensors..ect) with your motor you will also need to run an obd1 ecu with the set up as well

It might have been easier to have run the OBD2 distributor and oil pump and just swap the block itself than adapting OBD1 components to OBD2.

Look for the issue in the fueling system. If you have spark then the crank position sensor should be working.
