Went to a clothing store with my gf turned the car off did our business then went to the mall but when I came out to start it...dead didn't have enough power to turn over but stll had power enough for the radio, lights, and that stupid beeping when the door is open. Got er jumped and now the car is not normal. The ABS light is going on and off and the abs unit is going crazy and whenever the light comes on it messes up the electircal it makes the radio cut in and out, my VAFC is not functioning, and the strangest part is in driveability whenever the light comes on the car surges and hops during accel thru the gears like if you pushed the clutch half in the let it out real fast and if i get on it when I get around vtec the CEL goes on and off. I'm fearing an electircal prob. I don't get how the abs light would affect this b/c when its off the car runs fine. Haven't looked at any fuses yet, looked at the abs motor there is some fluid that has come out. What in the blue hell has happened to my car? have about 125,xxx miles.

start with the basics... ecu,alternator, abs computer, etc.. keep your head up!

 

checked everything(fuses) looked at abs unit, alternator, all is fine. My only thought is that the battery was just too weak to adequately power everything. Its at checker now gettin tested should know in an hour.

 

Get the free check done at auto zone.

Also check out all of your grounds. Unhook them and grind down the metal.

 

well as far as i can tell it was the battery. Checker said my optima was bad replaced the battery and everything runs normal none of the old probs are happening. So i guess i will see what happens from there,
