How will this affect you?
1. Not at all, no content will be lost, you ability to access the site will be the same. We do ask that you copy any important IM's, as the new software uses an e-mail style inbox, and cannot convert the existing IM's
2. We will retain the same look and feel of Honda Tech, and you ability to interact with it will not change.
3. New Search feature - there will be a new search feature that should be much improved over the existing one.</TD></TR></TABLE>

 

A new search feature... if it is better i think alot of people are going to get screamed at to use it even more lol. Honestly i think honda-tech already has one of the best search engines i have seen for a car forum.

 

its not nearly close to what it could be. I have always liked the vbulletin search.

Just as this forum was starting to grow on me it has to change lol. I like VB a lot though, it should be a nice change. Prudz you cant tell me you've never searched on preludepower, ya noob. lol

 

Ohhhh thats what vb is? I actually prefer this one over that one. When i search on this one i can use a more general bland search title and get what i am looking for. On i guess the vb one it always brings random crap even when i know what i am looking for is there. Both are still great systems though.

IB is working on trying to make it look very similar to what it looks like now.

i know we are missing a lot of threads guys, please be patient with us. We've got a mob to deal with and most people are not making it easy for us.

 

98vtec, the forum was fine the way it is. Zeroforum was good. The feel was awsome! VB is good i guess, not so pleased right now but its just been a day!

 

yah, my build thread was deleted i can find it anywhere and the search engine can't find it either.

 

it is not a matter of whether it was fine or not. the owners were not legally able to stick with it.

Could you please pass this along as feedback from your constituency. I'd really for the screen resolution to be increased to how it was before, ie. number of posts seen in one screenshot etc.
