Default Similarities between, 88 Civic/CRX Rear LCA'S and Integra Type R Rear LCA's

I have a pair of rear lower control arms from a 88 civic sedan. I also noticed that it is the same type of lower control arm as the integra type r, as they use the same type of rear shock, and not the traditional fork type of shock/lca combo. Will the rear shock be sufficient to use on a different model civic with type r shocks?
