Default another fuel filter leak.. and a quick thanks to H-T

So I finally got my car running after 7 months.. engine out twice.. clutch took me to hell and back.. Just wanted to say thanks to Honda-Tech and everyone who helped me out!

However, when I hooked up my fuel filter it leaked.. Read a few recent threads.. Saw that the culprit was probably the crush washers.

Bought a new FRAM fuel filter (complete with new washers) got it all nice n' tight.. still leaks from the washers.. fiddled around with it and of course it got worse..any more info or ideas?

planning on just buying another Filter kit tomorrow.. from Autozone or something (someone seemed to have success with one from autozone. I don't know the brand tho..)

thanks guys!

I had the same problem when swapping my old hatch. Then i got mad and just torqued the hell out of it. That solved it. Not saying thats your problem but make sure its really tight and bolt is threading correctly. Good luck

thanks for the info man.. Much appreciated.. and you brought up another question I had.. How do you torque it so tight? it is in one of the most awkward spots.. trying to hold it with wour hand and tighten doesnt work so well.. and fuel lines are only a foot or so long.. maybe it is just me..

thanks againoodie

So I took the intake off and took the filter out of the bracket.. I then had a friend hold the 'nut' with a 21mm open end and I torqued the hell out of the bolts with a 17mm.. sealed it up .. works like a charm..

thanks to oodie and exzon-.- for the correct info!
