As the topic states. Maybe some of you guys take your car to the shows and I was wondering what do you do when you cant start your car but want to use the audio system to

1) Just have the music playing in the background
2) For Decibel competition

Can a regular 10 Amp battery charger work in this application?

 

It depends on your curent draw needs. You can use a battery charger and set it up to the current draw that you are using. I use a power supply for indoor shows when I attend and plug into 110v wall plug. Or outdoor use I run a small honda genarator to power the power supply

 

Cascade Aidio Engineering is what I use. Dont skimp if you are thinking of using a power supply for SPL. Figure your alt. output and at least match it, more never hurts.
