alright so my questions is, on the Z6 there is an extra coolant outlet from the thermostat pipe compared to the y8. Where does it go? The y8 has one, and it goes to the iacv.


Z6's coolant pipe, Notice 2 coolant outlets. One on the left near the thermostat and the other on the opposite side( it has a hose on it)



Y8's coolant pipe with one in the middle which goes to the IACV.


I am running the d16z6 with the y8 Coolant pipe because i am using the Y8 intake manifold. Just out of curiosity where does the z6 second outlet run to?

 

the z6 has a fitv attached to the underside of the throttle body. i don't believe the y8 has one.

 

sorry fitv? i'll compare they y8's Tb vs the z6 tb see if i seen an extra nipple or not.
