I tired to do a search but nothing useful came up.
I have a 96 sedan manual that had a bad alternator. I had the engine light on and the speedo wasn't working at all and the car was just running like crap. Well a few days ago I noticed the SRS light turned on and the "Maintenance Required" icon had changed from yellow (turned that way after the alternator went bad), to red.
I had the codes tested.
Bad ground, O2 sensors (exhaust leak), and bad alternator.
Got all that fixed but the SRS light is still on.
I saw something about turning it off manually the way I saw in some forum, but that was for an 01 and I figured it wouldn't work.
Any and all input would be very greatly appreciated.
Thank you
