Do anyone kno how to reset the srs on a 95 civic?I adjusted my steerin wheel and the lite came on.

yep use the 2 wire MES connector under the driverside dash an follow the procedure

connect the jumper wire to both pins on the airbag service connector (the one that does not have wires plugged into it, under the steering wheel)

turn the ignition to on

the srs light will go on for 6 sec then go off

quickly disconnect one of the jumper wires within 4 sec

the light will come on again, reconnect the jumper within 4 sec

the light will come on again, disconnect the jumper

the light will blink 2 times and go off if you did it correctly

turn the ignition off wait 10 seconds before turning it back on again if you want

(It is also much easier if you have a real piece of wire, not a paper clip) </TD></TR></TABLE>

 

take the bulb out.

 

Don't these directions only work if you have all the components? I removed my driver's side air bag so that I could install an aftermarket wheel.

 

Does this work the same way for a 96?
