oke guys i was at my buddys shop and we where messing around trying to put a motor together to make his ef drivable lol so i look in the pile of blocks and heads and thought hey lets make somthing no one whould even think of doing lol so we made the strange combo lol we came up with a b16a2 bottem block assembly with a ls topend lol took little moding to make it fit only needed to tap and plug the vtec oil line on the b16 block lol after we fire thiss thing together and fire it up wow thiss motor wasent that bad at first we where messing around but then we desided to see how much rpm the motor chould take lol so far we got it up to 9000 and it still keeped pulling hard the motor sounded like a mix between a ls and a sir top end sound its hard to describe but all i know it makes jam like a **** lol for a a pile of scrap lmao

at about 3000 rpm the pull starts and dosent stop till 9000 clean its realy cool its runing a stock ls map to as well lol with no problems ill keep u guys posted we are going to the dyno with it to see what it makes and after tune we will see what thiss strange combo can handle on boost lol

That engine probably makes only 110hp with that setup.....no worth it....you can get a used LS engine for $200-300 that makes more hp and tq

i highly doubt that it is pulling hard past 7000-7500 rpm. you have to have some pretty bad valve float.

no i took a ls head and made it work on a b16 block lol its all the scrap from a lsvtec build lol so its realy a nonvtec b16 lol

 

its runing stock parts ls timeing belt and head gasket is what i used

 

well the head i used has been used on many ls builds only the bottem died on them because of reving them to high to **** so it can with stand 9000 rpm i push it till i feel the peak it pulls up to 9 nice but im afraid if i go eney more maby it feels way faster then a my D16y8 y7 mini me so its got to be more then 130hp at least
