New guy 1990 Integra , a couple quick questions
Hello there, I am new to Hondas and to this site . I am NOT new however to working on and modifying cars or to internet forums so before I ask any questions, yes I have searched and read through a few different FAQ's and didnt find what I was looking for.
I picked up a 1990 Integra GS 4dr Automatic ( I have a modded S14 in the garage to fulfill my needs , so dont kill me, automatics are just peachy with me)
Here it is in all its glory

$1400 and 120,000 miles.
It needs a new rear wheel bearing , has an ABS light on, but everything else checks out great.
My two questions :
What is the valve adjustment interval?
Does a 1990 4dr Integra require the special Honda power steering fluid ?
( i just bought the car tonight and havent had a chance to get a service manual yet)
Any input is very much appreciated. As for future plans I intend on keeping this car original, unmolested and it will probably never see redline, it wasnt meant for that anyhow . Thanks - Coupe

first what engine is it, It will say on the block by where the gearbox joins on, And it doesnt require a special honda PS fluid. I just used automatic transmission fluid in mine because I had lots spare from topping up the auto fluid.
My car isnt auto or have PS any more so I cant comment on long term effects but thats all PS fluid normaly is(auto trans fluid)

I am not sure of the older Acuras but right now all the Acuras get the valve adjustment every 105k miles. I would do it everytime you change the timing belt which I believe is about every 90k miles.
Always use honda power steering fluid. Honda stuff is better than anything else out there.
