ok i got a p06 ecu with hondata s200...i'd like to use the hondata setup on a obd1 vtec ecu(gsr or the like) can i use this unit? or am i better off selling this unit and getting a different setup?

a P06 ECU can be used with Hondata without problems...

 

If you are bringing it to a tuner, yes, you are good to go.

If you want to tune yourself, you need the ROM Editor 4 Software and Cable with the S200. If this is the case, I would recommend taking advantage of their trade in program.

i dont want to use the p06 i want to use the hondata on a different ecu!

 

You can use the s200 on other obd1 ecu's.You can also use a non-vtec ecu (like the po6) on a vtec engine by having the vtec circuitry added to the ecu.
