broken lower control arm bolt
I overtightened it like an idiot
this is the rear inner lower control arm bolt.the one that bolts the under carriage. the pivot bolt, whatever you want to call it. I have not driven yet. dont think its safe.
on hondapartscheap and majestic, its 20$ for the bolt! 20$!!!
so i was also looking at the skunk2 lower control arms. do the kits come with bolts??? no one seems to know.
has anyone else broken this bolt or just me?

While untightening the center bolt and the outboard bolt on one of the two lower rear control arms of my 91 Civic (during a suspension rebuild), I broke both. They have a tendency to seize in their bushings on older cars. Not sure where you are at w/your suspension job, but a compressed air driven die grinder is the best way to get these broken bolts out. I replaced them with junkyard bolts, though as others suggest, to drive safely you should replace with new; IIRC there is documentation on these bolts being "one time torque" bolts.
It is very common for the bolt to rust and seize into the inside the metal strut bushing. I burn them out and cut the bolt.
The buy new oem bolt and bushing and use the grey anti seize compond (about $5 for a bottle), works like a charm, i can remove my bolts years later, no problems
