I've heard from time to time people making comments about how thier blower speeds aren't really working on the 3rd or 4th setting like they think it should. It come to my attention that there possible needs to be write up on how to fix this. When i got my hatch the 4th blower setting was not any faster then the 3rd. I decided to do something about this problem of mine. So i looked in my manual and figured out how my blower works and where the restriction could be. I found that the blower blows through the heater/ac core and thats where i started to investigate. I FOUND MY PROBLEM! Turns out 1/3 of the lower portion on the heater/ac core was plugged up with leaves and crap. It took a little time to get all the crap out but with a toothbrush i removed all the restrictions to the heater/ac core fins. IT WORKS LIKE NEW AGAIN! I hope someone with a cam is inspired to make a write-up of this, I would but i have no cam.
