Currently I have the 91 EX sedan knuckles on my 91 CRX HF (rear disc brakes 40/40 prop valve) and I wanted to furhter better the braking ability. I was looking at a set of wilwood big brake kits (4 piston) and was wondering if I should go with the kit for the 91 EX sedan knuckles or should I revert back to CRX SI knuckles and bolt on the wilwood kit for those?
The kit for the EX has 12.19" rotors and the CRX kit would have 11" rotors. Another factor I want to consider is wheelsize. I currently have 17's but also am considering going back to something more effective like 15's. The kit for the CRX should clear 15's but the EX kit would require 17's.
I figure the big brake kit is the way to go, better braking AND weight loss!
your input is appreciated

11.1" rotors will be plenty. That is what I run out on the track (road racing, closed circut) with 15's. 17's make a CRX ride like a hay wagon, IMO.
17's ----> 15's = upgrade
17's ----> 15's = upgrade
