Thats your main relay for sure if you said it starts to click. Try a new one. Either take a couple from a salvage yard of buy a new one.

before getting a new relay check all your grounds and make sure they're connected and tight. i had this similar problem (the one on the thermostat housing) and thought it was my main relay, it was causing it to click and the car would die or not start at all.

i had checked all my grounds and they are all connected tight. and i have 1 other main relay from the junk yard and a new one is like 180. don't have that much money. i will be ripping out my wires again today incase it got pinched somewhere. if it's not the negative it's def the main relay? guess i'm gonna have to dish out the money if it's not my negative. thanks guys i really appreciate it. it's hard to think straight when your all fustrated
