My ECHC brethren...
It's been a while since I've been on H-T...
...but I wanted to wish my ECHC buds good luck this weekend at CMP. I'll be there but will undoutbedly be busy. So I figured since I wouldn't see some of youz until after Sat's race, I'd let youz guyz know I was rooting for all of ya.
Also, good luck to those starting out in the small bore race this weekend. That race I'll actually be able to watch... (ECHC and AI are back-to-back)
Play it safe, have fun, and I'll see you there.

Good luck to everyone this weekend - including those who are going for their Competition licenses on Friday (especially the cute one who is making the switch back to the left side from the right
).

Thanks Shuggs! Personally I would prefer to run with the American Iron class. But I understand why they decided not to. Too many egos would be broken as all the little Hondas pass all of those big ole V-8s.
Thanks for asking about the car guys... Yup, it's back together. Took a good bit of effort and still has some duct tape holding on body parts (thanks Phat-S) but all in all, it's in decent shape.
Now how did I know that if one person on this board would talk smack, it would be my good buddy Jonny Boy!!
I say... it would be interesting to take the fastest race laps of the AI cars and fastest race laps of the ECHC cars and average them out. Be interesting to see the difference (quite honestly).
Then, on a more personal note, we could just compare my lap times to Jonny Boy's.
Last I heard, he was pulling about 3.4g's, 185mph thru T8, and was running in the low 1:42's.

Is your car back together? yup... well enough to win the AI race at Lowes the other Friday under the lights.

All joking aside...
I think an ECHC vs. AI would be an AWESOMELY FUN race. Perhaps something to look into for next year...
re: my win at Lowes. Well, there was only 3 cars there in AI. Unfortunately, one of the guys (that probably would have won) rolled his car in practice (Advice: don't go wide in Turn 5 at Lowes - T5 is not the place to make up time). It looks like he'll be at CMP though, so that's good news.
Thanks for congrats all the same...

For Bragging rights at CMP...
The average the 5 fastest H.C. race laps vs. the average of the 5 fastest AI race laps in Saturday's races. Winner gets bragging rights.
PS - No, I'm not talking about Shuggs 5 fastest vs Jack's 5 fastest. The fastest laps of the fastest 5 drivers might be a better way to put it.
PS2 - You american iron guys do have 5 entrys... don't you?

Troy Lee Designs' got nothing on me
For any of your slip-stream fender taping needs, I have Casper White, #42 Red, GS-R Black and "Arrows for your hoodpins" Flourescent Pinkish-Orangish-Something.
On another note, isn't it blasphemy to have any chit-talking going on between Moostangs and Honders without Pantagonias in the mix? Where is the wildhorse himself for a thread like this?

I hove nothing to bad to say about hyundai's - they make nice backmarkers!
Seriously, can AI/X compete in the 5 on 5 stats comparison - ???
PS. I've seen starnes do that 3.4G move in T8 @ 185 - fun to watch - but he usually blows a shift at the end... and has to get a new tranny ...

Ahh Jim, I remember like yesterday the days when you used to get whooped up by all the Hondas - actually that WAS yesterday
Sure, AIX can be a part of the 5/5 stats - you guys can just tack that AIX time *after* the four AI guys
See you (and the family?) down there Jim and have a good and safe trip.

True, when I was trying to push a 3000 lb car around the track with only 210 ponys I was driving like a honda!!!
I'll be there Fri-Sun! See ya!

AIX counts. But we'll go ahead and make a rule that the 5 cars counted for each side have to actually FINISH the race.
Scott, who is pretty sure that ECHC has a chance in this little comparo, regardless of what the P/W ratios look like on paper.
Hell, I've never needed power to kick Pantas' *** in my Hyundai before. Why worry about it now?
Shugg... I can't chit talk Shuggles anymore. Dammit.

Bring it on Jimbo.... Hey wait a second...last time at CMP you dropped like 7 seconds off your previous lap times....hmmm! Will be interesting to say the very least.
I think it is only fair to warn you all that I will be there all day tomorrow practicing as part of the Comp School and of course driving during the open practice... I am hoping to knock at least 1-2 more seconds off of my times...(I've added a couple of goodies since our last CMP outing...)
Be safe, let's go racin'! See you all at the track...!

See you there Jimbob, and I am expecting some 49's out of you after your times at LMS.
Gus' tomorrow night? Whenever the bleep I end up getting there.
