Default I got some suspension goodies to put on my EK

the ASR subframe reinforcement, CTR swaybar, and Blox endlinks.

bought some new KYB bumpstomps, boots, top plates and poly bushings.

i got these front poly bushings only but nothing for the rear.

after complete installation I found it hard to set the Konis to a comfortable setting.
Either it was too hard with the car bobbing up and down or too soft.

How do you set it so it will not bob but still have some firmness for some spirited driving. Also I didn't think the H&R sport springs would lower the car that much

just turn it to full soft, then turn it back up 1/2 to 3/4 turn or so.

I turned it to full soft and with one full turn it was still on the soft side. When i turn it to like 2 turns it was too stiff and bobbing on smooth pavement.

one of the bolt heads broke off for the rear LCA

This is very common especially with cars in montreal.
bolts gets rusted so so much that when you want to remove them. SNAP comes off the head of the damn bolt.

spin saw didn;t work well and didn't reach so I used these Lawson drill bits and must say they are amazing

vise grips and patience finally got these sucker out

endlinks installed

Yeah rust is the only bad thing about living in the eastern canada.
I could find any honda hubcaps so I had some VW ones doing nothing.

These are much better than the K-sport and D2 stuff that blows all the time.

throwing paint on the rust will not prevent it but just temporarily cover it. It needs to be sanded and treated before paint.

that bushing is on the wrong way. the taper side points up. on top and the bottom one points down.

the 2 wide ends sould be facing each other. and the narrow ends pointing opposite ends.

If I known it lower more than stated I would have kept the OEM springs and not spend the extra $$$.
The rear wheels are bowed out which i didn't like once the car was lowered.

I believe the upper "cupped" washer on your front struts is on upside down. The "cup" should be pointed up not down. I don't think it will really hurt anything though. It'll just cut into the bushing a bit.

Just letting you know that the lower tie bar you have put with ASR is useless. ASR itself serve as tiebar at the same time they reinforce the subframe.

Anyway! Great setup nonetheless. It is just sad there are so many rusts.
