What would be the price for that job? i got it checked out by a family mechanic and he had told me that the main tranny seal was leaking, and it's leaking alot, it leaves a big puddle, and could smell it. its $120 a good price plus parts?

 

Its a 1994 accord lx 4cl. with 210,000

 

If he's willing to do it for that price, tell him you'll throw in a case of brew, and smile about it.
I've seen the job at 4 times what you quoted.
The job takes between 3 to 4 hours (with the correct tools and a lift.
To do it correctly, the Transmission needs to come completely out of the vehicle.
