Its my first day on the fourm - I'm thinking of buying a 08 honda civic SI

I'm also planning to lightly mod such as lowering, exhaust, rims and air intake

I was wondering if there as big as an aftermarket part choice as there was for the 90s civics and also if anyone is a owner and could tell me the pros and minor issues with the car. thanks

I can tell you that there is a pretty good aftermarket for higher up company's (not Ebay). Anyway there is no stand alone tuning yet blah blah blah. No K pro....

Then about the other stuff you should use the bright red search button in the top right corner.

It works I seen it.
