Default Clutch problems when car warms up

I replaced my clutch and flywheel when I did a zc swap on my 91 hatch 4 months ago and Ive been having trouble with the engagement point. Its fine when I start driving but after about 20 min of driving my pedals on the floor and im having a hard time shifting. I thought my cable was but put in a new one and nothings changed also Ive been having to tighten the adjustment screw about 2 clicks every other week and im almost out of threads on my cable. Ive searched every where and only found one post with the exact problem but no solution posted. I would drop my trany but im in the process of painting my car. I have an excedy organic clutch with a fidanza 7 lb fly wheel any help or imput would be appreciated

i was doing some head work on mine and when i moved the clutch cable outta the way if messed it up... it would engage and go to the floor but it wouldnt pop back up... i dont know if yours is doing that but what i did was tightend that adjuster thing thats at the end of the cable, down by that arm. I think i tightend it all the way im not sure but i messed with it and it fixed my problem. good luck!

Maybe you should find a new forum if you have trouble getting answers.

There are a possibility of a few different things causing your problem. But first what kind of pressure plate are you running? You sure all flywheel and pressure plate bolts were torqued correctly?

Now one problem is fluid may be getting on the disk and causing the pads to grow and cause a early engagement.

Same possible problem even being dry the organic pads could possibly be growing with heat causing and early engagement.

Rivits in the pads could be coming loose.

Unlikely but never know, flywheel could be warping a bit under heat. Cause could be loose friction disk to flywheel bolts.

Either way to find and or fix the problem the tranny will have to come off and parts will need inspection.
