crankshaft seal and balance shaft seal

96 accord lx f22b2
when i press these seals into place, is there a certain amount that they need to be pressed in or do i just press them in until they bottom out on the oil pump?
also do i use hondabond on all the gaskets associated with the oil pump? and should i use any hondabond on the gasket for the water pump?
I just did the balance shaft seal on my 93 accord and there was not stop or edge for the seal to stop at. So i had to be careful not to press it in too far. So when i installed it, i pressed it in so that it was about 1/16" recessed into the oil pump assy. But i don't know about the crank shaft seal. When you remove it you'll see if theres a lip to stop at or not. Just remember how far the original ones are pressed in and put the new ones in the same way.
first off, whenever installing seals without the super overpriced recommended install tool, be very careful to get them in straight, not cocked one way or the other.
The crank seal should be flush with the oil pump boss. the install tool from honda is just a cup to clear the crank snout and a flat to press the seal untill the housing stops it.
the "front" balancer seal should be slightly recessed. i would say close to where the guide chamfer ends. i am pretty sure there is a measurement there but about 0.5-1.0mm (or ~0.02-0.04in.) won't give you any problems.
...and honda-bond (grey RTV) only on the oil pump to block surface. you shouldn't need it anywhere else, with the exception of the oil pan.

i just intall a f22b2 on my 1997 honda accord but the engine it had before was a f22b1 and it will not start because the new engine those not have where to put the crank position sensors
