how do i get this @$#% off??
so the si spoiler broke off because my buddy decided to push the car with the spoiler
,
so i took it off, and this crap thats (next to impossible to take off with a scraper) is stuck on the trunk, its like rubber adhesive stuck on the ends of the trunk where it met the spoiler, how do i remove this without damaging the paint??

I've used brake cleaner to remove REALLY difficult hard adhesives from automotive paints before. Used on Hondas, Audis, Volkswagens and Fords so far. I'm sure I've used it on others, but can't recall which other ones.

I've seen someone do the same thing to my friend's 1995 Volvo 850 T5-R. Rare car in North America so it really sucked...
Why anyone would choose to push on a plastic spoiler rather than a metal trunk is completely beyond me...
