turboed4dr’s build thread/timeline
FIRST: I would like to thank everyone who has helped me in the past. Special thanks to Johnls: all of the hrs you’ve put in on this are truly appreciated (you deserved that free b16), Kayvon and Brandon: thanks for the best details, Joe and Tempest for the favors and hook-ups here and there and all of the time and advice, and of course my girlfriend Katrina for not killing me during the build. Anyone else THANKS!
The cars history: This was my first car at age 16 which my mom picked out. She chose a 4dr because she knew that all I wanted to do was work on it and she didn’t think I would ever try to make a 4dr a race car. The first thing I did was get a b16 with a couple bolt ons. I had Joe tune it with S100 and from there he just talked me into more power. Later I bought a full-race turbo kit and was tuned at 315hp for over a year. It was fun having a fast 4dr sleeper and beating up on some old domestic guys. Joe found me a great deal on a fully built and assembled motor from Justice Racing so I bought that along with improving all of my parts. Here is the build.

cool write up matt! glad to see you getting the car down the track the way it should be now. all of our mouths dropped when you ran your 10 second pass as it seemed you had never made a clean pass before that one.
cool part is we can still turn the boost up another 15lbs or so! when you get a chance email me the log from your good pass

I love it! This is the way a thread should be done. If we can all try to follow the example or try to do the same thing, the sport would be a lot better and a lot more interesting. I wanted to say “Great Job” and “Keep it up!” You are doing a hell of a job.

Thanks everyone for the inspiring comments. This was suppose to be my last race this year, but when Joe told me i was off the gas for 1.6 sec. I really want to go back and turn the boost up.
She doesn't always agree
, but supports me with anything i've ever wanted to do. She wanted to come out to watch, but just hurt her foot the other day.
I know, now that we have a garage with electricity things should go a lot smoother. But whos gonna stage me next year?

Nice write up about your build. Nice to see the four doors out there. Good luck to you in the in the up coming seasons. Maybe since your all excited to bring it out again you can stop by Honda day at atco on the 23? I see that you stripped it down to nothing, what did it weigh in at?
