HIGH RPM BOGGING NEED HELP!
I have a stock b18c i/h/e on a chipped/tuned p28. vtec comes in at 5200, but it bogs in and out from then till redline and im losing power.
ive already changed: sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, fuel pump and fuel filter, swapped ecu's with a friend, replaced vtec solenoid screen, checked for a clogged cat, replaced the whole dizzy and timed it.
i dont know what else tp do, im short on cash. any help would be appreciated.

Check for water in the plug tubes.
I did a complete engine wash, and water got in the #4 tube. It would run find up until about 5000 rpm, then misfire and sputter like crazy to about 7000 rpm.
Blew the water out with an air compressor, changed the plugs, and cleaned the plug wire contacts with a wire brusy and put a dab of delectrolisis grease in there so they wouldn't corrode. No problems any more.
Your vtec engages at 5000? That's wierd. If I'm going full throttle, mine hits off at 4500, and if I'm just easing my way up in the rpm's, it engages at 5k.

Oil level is always on point. And no check engine light...
When i bought the car a few months ago the previous owner told me he always used mobile1 5-30 oil. I realized that the car burned a lot of oil, so i did my first oil change with castrol non synthetic 20-50, and ive been using it since i've owned the car (3 oil changes later). This problem has only got worse since i've owned the car, and never did it in the beginning. Would the thickness in the oil have anything to do with this problem?
good advice; seafoamed the whole car out, seems like its running a lot better.. bogging way less. it's still doing it but not half as much. maybe i have A LOT of carbon build up because my car runs really rich. is it safe to use another bottle of that stuff or is it too soon already?
It probably wouldn't hurt to try it again, but personally I prefer BG44k.
Clean your air filter, and invest in an adjustable fuel pressure regulator & an ECU chip.
Also, Seeing as you have I/H/R on a stock P72, adjustable cam gears are long overdue. You need to advance both your cams about 8 degrees to compensate for your bolt-ons, which should also reduce further carbon deposits and increase your midrange power.
Otherwise just try using quality fuel, and replace your clogged-up O2 sensors.

I bought a whale ***** intake not too long ago, so the filter is basically brand new. My car is on a chipped and tuned p28, but i had even swapped it with a stock p72 my friend had in his car, and it ran the same. I have always used chevron 93 gas since i've had the car too. I'll look into advancing the timing on the cam gears though, and as for the o2 sensors, those are next on my to do list.
I appreciate all the help from you guys.. thanks a lot
