does anyone know how to wire up the H4h bulbs onto my 9006/9005 wiring harness?
*dont just say cut,match wire,crimp
, tape.*
the h4h bulb are a one bulb combo high/low beam.
as the usdm crx are two bulb. one for hi and the other low.
so how do i wire up the high beam part? i remember reading some one said they had to use a relay for when they turn on the high beam, it turned off their low simultaneously.
help me out brothas.

Cut, Match Wire Color, SOLDER , heatshrink.
yea dude, it is THAT simple.
USDM uses a dual chamber headlight housing with a high beam and a low beam chamber, meanwhile the JDM headlights use only a single chamber, The High and Low Beam wiring for the USDM harness is combined into one set with the JDM headlights, they function the same, only now instead of having 2 chambers and 2 harnesses of 2 pin clips for 2 chambers in each headlight, you now only have single 3 pin clip harnesses going into single chamber housings.
FTR I have done this conversion to 3 cars now, It is brainless, Hooking a VHS player up to a HD TV is more of a challange.

um but that doesnt seem right.
sure it will work.
but that will burn out the bulb quicker?(i drive freeway at night where there are no such lightings)
ok check this scenerio out,
you connect the high and low beams into that 3wire plug socket. color for color
you turn on the low beams. (its on)
now you turn on high beams (its on)
are you forgetting that the lowbeams are still actually on???
or did you forget.
my 98 civic has the same plug and similar bulbs. yet when i have my low beam on and turn the high beam on, the low beams infact turns off..
or having both low and high beams turned on will not blow that single bulb?
sure it will work.

Unless you really want to go through the hassle of buying multiple relays, tracing wires, mess, etc.
20-30 minutes? On and off. I always click em off when I see oncoming traffic obviously. I used to go from Nor to SoCal a lot and back up (back when I was using my car for school too). Most of the 101 and 1 at night is really scary (plus 8 hour drive). That's why I also purchased some JDM fogs for the thick coastal fog, but that's another story altogether.
Do you even understand how a switched link or relay works dude?
2 red wires + one black
1 red wire = high beam
1 red wire = low beam
ground = resistance between the 2 switched positions for high / low orientation
One red wire is hot, while its hot, the other one is NOT, they alternate current through red wires depending on if the high beam switch is armed or not...
ONE WIRE FOR HIGH BEAMS, ONE FOR LOW.
The USDM wiring has 4 wires per headlight. High Beam: Black wire for ground, and correct me if I'm wrong, red wire with yellow line for the high beam itself. The low beam also has a black ground wire, and a red wire with a green line for low beam. Here's what you do. Pick a ground wire, it doesn't matter.. I used the high beam ground wire.. Next, take the high beam wire, and the low beam. Connect them to your harness on your SiR Bulb.. Notice how the bulb has 3 wires connected to it Connect the ground to the ground, low beam to the low, and high to the high on the headlight. You should have that last ground wire from the USDM low beam.. Don't cut it.. just tape it up just in case. Your SiR headlights are now wired.
You might also want to look up how an H4H bulb acually works, clearly you are clueless about it.
Stop over looking your problem the wrong way, I've already explained to you how to wire them up, and now I've explained to you how they work....
Or you could acually try looking this up for yourself.
