Front Strut Tower Bar/ Engine Torque Damper Stiffy
I am looking to throw a front strut bar on. But I have a stiffy installed. Will I need to do any modifications for the strut bar to fit? Is there a strut bar that I can purchase were I will not have to? i just heard you would have to do some modifications to fit the strut bar.
Since your torque damper attaches to the strut bolts, you will need to grind a small part of the strut bar mount off on that side. If you do it carefully and only grind off as little as possible, you will have no issues.
I don't think you have to modify the strut bar...it is the Ingals ETD bracket that you have to shave off because it sticks up a little bit...
I have the Spoon ETD with the Spoon ETD Bracket which is flat so I didn't have to shave anything off when I had the DC Titanium Strut Bar installed...
