Default Re-looping my steering rack

when i did my H22 swap in my CL i decided to ditch my P/S but did a pretty ghetto way of trying to keep fluid from leaking, now over a year later im hearing like a metal on metal type of sound when im making left turns, and im almost positive its my steering rack drying out. im also leaking fluid inside my engine bay which i have to clean up like every other day.

my 2 questions are whats the easiest way to re-loop my steering rack, and when i do re-loop it, how do i lubricate the rack again so it isnt making the grinding type sound anymore.

heres a picture for reference.

look in between the dipstick and the ABS motor. thats where the P/S main line is.
