Default ef ls swap shift linkage modding

i have all the ls linkage and need to know how much shorter do i need to make it? anyone know...thanks

I would do 2in. I did 2 3/8 and it hits the front of the console when I am in first. Unless I messed up measuring all 5 times. But it also may be different depending on mounts. I am using innovative.

i think the mounts in this one are halsport (sp)pretty soild mounts...


and do i shorten both bars?

Shortening it a less amount would make it hit the dash more wouldn't it? and yes you need to shorten both bars.
