Default Clutch/Tranny Issue.... I think

Just yesterday I noticed that when I released the clutch in first gear I felt a jolt in the pedal. Feels like the clutch gets hung up and then frees itself and slams back to where it should be according to my pedal position.

Then on my way into work this morning I notice there is an 'extra' noise coming from the engine bay. I feel the same 'jolts' in the through the pedal. I assume this is the clutch. Although the car will shift smoothly and solidly through all of the gears.

FYI:

I have an ACT heavy duty pressure plate and organic hybrid disc with 30K+ on it.

A few months ago I had this 'rattle' in my tranny which turned out to be the clutch retention bolt rolling around in there. 380 dollars later the dealership replaced it.
Any ideas?

ACT uses reman'ed clutch dics and pressure plates if I'm not mistaken. God knows about the throwout bearing. You have minimum wage monkey's rebuilding that crap in the back of some shop in the hood'. Next clutch, replace with a new OEM-quality Daiken clutch set (Honda sources from them) & everything new. There's really not much you CAN do...

if I need a new clutch I am going with Exedy. but I don't think it is the clutch. its not slipping or giving me any problems really. there's just a crazy *** noise coming from the front end and a lot on clicking and clacking when I turn. It's really apparent when I coast of the freeway. In reality I have no idea what the hell it is.

Exedy is good. I think there all new materials although it doesn't hurt to ask. I'd say since your having good clutch action, its not the disc but something with the pressure plate...however...I'm just talking out of my *** right now. The clicking and clacking when you turn could be a misadjusted clutch cable. I recall my brother had that problem after a clutch job in his integra; his cable wasn't correcly adjusted...after it was adjusting the clicking/metal-on-metal sounds while turning went away. Hope that helps...

It could be several things, but my bet (if I'm understaning you correctly) would be that it's either:

1) clutch disk spring
2) intermediary shaft
