What is the difference between a GSR and Type R OEM clutch?
I just put a GSR clutch in my RS, I think its the same as ls/rs/gs with a bit more clamping power, Type-R clutch needs Type-R flywheel too I think. It is lighter and stronger than gsr.
ITR clutch is different from GSR and LS clutch. Stiffer springs in the pressure plate.
ITR flywheel is a few pounds lighter than GSR or LS flywheel.
ITR clutch does not need to be mated to an ITR specific flywheel.
-you can mix and match, its whatever you can afford really.
-if I had to buy a new flywheel I would buy an aftermarket 8 or 9 pounder, not a stock ITR flywheel.
hope that helps
