wheel fitment questions.
looking to pick up some new 15's.
i would like to get some wider wheels but am not too familiar with the offsets for my new 91 hatch.
if i were going to run 15x9 in the rear and 15x8 in the front, what offsets should i look for?
thanks.

Additionally, why run a wider rear wheel? The front tires do all the work, and the front fenders have a larger opening to accommodate a wider wheel anyway.

would a 15x8 +15 all around fit on an 88 LX Sedan? What tire size would be good?

The correct 15" tire for your car (and the OP's car) is 195/50-15, which are generally approved for 5.5" to 7" wheels.
Are you guys going for the lowrider mini truck look (wheels sticking outside of the body and dangerously stretched tires)?
wider rear wheels look better imo.
15x8 all around wouldn't be bad i guess.
and i'll be stretching the tires, most likely a 195/45 on the 8's if thats the biggest i can run.

you can run 195 50's just got to hammer out the fenders or roll with sort of thick stick.... if you know what i mean.. almost as fat as a jack handle.. sort of..
Stretching a tire onto a wheel that is wider than approved for it is UNSAFE. When you do this, excessive stress and heat builds up in the sidewall of the tire, and can lead to tire failure (blowout, etc). DON'T DO IT.
