Don't buy from eBay. By the time you buy some of those and have them shipped to you, you will have spent more than if you'd just driven to your local Honda dealership parts department, walked in and asked for two OEM 52385-S21-003 trailing arm bushings for the Honda list price of $36.68 each (although you should call to confirm before making the trip, as the prices of Honda's rubber products have been unstable as of late).

You don't need a press to install trailing arm bushings. They can be easily installed with a hammer.

if you are just replacing it because its worn and old.... then you don't need to get the hard rubber ones...

if you want the hard rubber ones... get a whole replacement kit... search "hardrace"

i think the ebay seller who sells hardrace kits is b18c~somethignsometings.... >__>

If you are interested in stiffer RTA bushings, contact Jeff@Special Projects MS. He is the west coast distributor for Hard Race products. Tell him Charles sent you.

Hard race bushings are performance oriented rubber from what i can remember. I went OEM though and thats what i recommend to you.

i have heard and seen many people use hard rubber over polyurethane, is there anything wrong with the polyurethane bushings?

The only polyurethane replacements available for the rear trailing arm bushing (Energy Suspension and Prothane) use a completely solid design that doesn't allow enough movement on multiple axes as that bushing is designed for. This creates binding and odd dynamic alignment issues which can cause erratic handling; most club racers and autocrossers are using either OEM, aftermarket hard rubber, or spherical bearing replacements for that particular bushing rather than polyurethane.

For any street car, I would simply recommend new OEM replacements. They are inexpensive, readily available, and work as intended.
