OK I WAS ONE DAY CLEANING M RIMS WITH SOME KIND OF WOOL PAD AND THEY CLEANED THE RIMS PRETTY GOOD UNTIL AFTER I WASHED ALL THE DIRT OFF AND WHEN IT DRYED UP IT LEFT THESE MARKS

WHAT CAN I DO TO GET RID OF THESE MARKS..

 

Those look like scratches, and you would need some wheel polish to get rid of them.

PS. Your "CAPS LOCK" is on, you might want to turn it off.

 

Yup. Definitely scratches. If you used steel wool to clean your rims... well, lesson learned.

Scratches can be in an outer clearcoat, or in the metal itself. I'm guessing you would need different products, depending on what exactly is scratched. If it's in the clearcoat, you could try using something slightly abrasive like a swirl remover or more abrasive like a rubbing compound, but that's just a guess. Any time you're using abrasive products, your best bet is to try the mildest and least abrasive first, and use progressively more abrasive products until the problem is gone, then go back through from roughest to finest.

 

he's gonna need more than polish. Try searching for How to polish wheels, there is a whole write up, and if you want to restore that wheel I would recommend looking into it.

 

Based on that picture, the scratches are minor and don't seem to be deeper than the clear coat. He wouldn't need more than a polish for that sort of scratch.
