Default So my car wont start :[

alright, a little history of my problem:

yesterday my girlfriend had my car and was gonna go do some stuff, so she tries to start it up and it cranks but wont fire.. whatever so i come over and check some **** out. fuel pump wasnt turning on so i wired the fuel pump straight to my ignition, my fuel pump turns on etc and it ran.

so i drive my car to work, after work it starts up fine. i go pick my gf up, go to my house we hangout etc, i go outside to turn my car on to take her home and it wont start again?

im stumped.

88 civic dx, dual point.

im thinking maybe the engine is flooded? im not sure, i can think of what to do.

could my injectors be clogged maybe?

im definately getting fuel, and spark..
so what do you guys think? flooded maybe?

your first problem, the fuel pump, is either do to the fuel pump relay or a frayed wire. this happened with my ignition a while back i did what u did...connect a wire from the black/white ignition wire STRAIGHT to the starter, perfect....

get some injector cleaner, COULD help...um check the wire you ran directly to starter who knows it could have come loose.

try to replace the fuel pump relay tho

because thats what was wrong yesterday when me and my friend fixed it.
it was just dumping fuel into the motor and there was too much so it couldnt ignite it.

now, my house is so [freak]ing stupid i dont even have a ratchet so i can take my spark plugs out and dry them off..this is rediculous

That happen to me, my car hated my girlfriend too. Invest into some tools, your ride is like 20 years old. This would be a great time to reconcile with your true love.

but my problem is that it wont start up normal with the turn of my key..

i dont wanna keep having to start it by spraying gas into that lol..someone help please!

if the injector cleaner worked....then jacked up again...it means you need to replace your injectors.

if you have the money, just overhaul your fuel system i mean **** it will fix your problem.

go all out get a pump, rail, and injectors. you may even want to get a cheap fuel pressure regulator, or at least a gauge that lets u know whats up. or get an adjustable regulator.

hm. well if i was planning on keeping the dual point i would do all of that but im just gonna say [freak] it and buy the multi port swap so i can have 4 fuel injectors and no gay throttle body/fake carb thing hahaha..

this is stumping me though, cause when i get it started it runs normally, but then i turn it off it just wont turn back on unless it has gas in the throttle body
