Should i buy this 89 prelude si fo $1700???
i test drove the car and under hard acceleration the car misses bad, is it a problem with the fuel system and if so how expensive is it to fix??? the speedometer is always extremely sqeaky and annoying.
Yea definitely would pass on that.. well for the price. Just sold a 91 CRX with a 99-00 si swap in it for only $2200 which the guy got a steal.. but still you can find a actual functioning well car for that price is what im trying to say here.
FYI: I bought an 93 prelude off e-bay a few weeks ago for $1700. This was the top end of what it was worth, but interior was in really good shape, exterior has little or no rust (small spot on driver door) and roof and hood are weather worn to the through the laquer down to primer, but I am planning to paint anyway, so I was more concerned with interior and mechanics. Car has 250K miles, but runs great.... Suspension is really squeaky, however, I am replacing all of the bushings and upper control arms.
Car $1700
Parts $200
Paint $300 plus my labor = Nice looking Daily driver.
