Default Newer 2006-2008 civic steering wheel question.

When I had the 08 civic ex for a while before I got rid of it, it had this 320mm factory steering wheel and it's oem. I was wondering if it would work in a ef hatchback. It's small, just like those 320 or 350mm racing steering wheel diameter.

Picture for reference:

How does it fit when the newer ones are bolt threaded while the older ones has a bolt screwed on the shaft?

Number 15.

Drill the centre of the steering shaft and put a bolt in it?
Now spline count is definately different between an EK and EF civic.

You can't just drill and tap and then put a bolt on there, steering wheel would just slip around on the shaft. Ek and Ef's spline are different, really? Never knew this.

Not if the shaft dia. is larger than the steering wheels hole dia.

Yeah, otherwise I would have fitted an Integra wheel already.

anybody? I dont want to buy it and not knowing it'll fit before I have to do modification.

Edit: Idea just poped in my head, Cut the piece of metal where the spline is from back of the ef steering wheel and then cut the same size for the fg and weld the ef piece in and then bolt it in? What about the horn function?
