I was taking my mom to work in my black 98GSR when a black honda prelude went rev-crazy on me, i just turned and smiled, well he went to get gas and I doped my mom off at her work about 2 blocks away from the texico where the prelude was, well I was by my self now and IT WAS ON I pulled in the the texico and went rev-happy on the guy then I left and he went after me well we caught a red and from the start I got him I had A good launch and all my gears went in really good and I got him by 3 cars and then we went at it once more and I got him 1 car but I let him jump on me. well we pulled over and it was a 2000 prelude typeSH with I/H/E and all I had at the time was a home-made intake, are all GSRs beating preludes?

 

was it 5 speed or auto with that sport shift crap? the SH weights a bit more than the base model so its a little slower. i think it would be a pretty close race stock vs. stock, mostly depending on who ever gets the better launch and who can drive better. i havent raced one yet so i dont know from experiance. goodkill though

yeah just with a home-made intake PVC pipe (I'm 17 with no job!)

 

With equal drivers and conditions, they're really close stock. So the driver should have played a big role.

 

my gs-r with i/h/e combo feels better than my friends 98 prelude. i dunno. i got to test both cars. the prelude only had a iceman cai so maybe the extra mods on my car made a big difference. man...i've never raced anyone but i hate it when people rev on my ***. thanks for spankin the shxt out of him

 

Most Vtec preludes with I/H/E pull around a 14.6

uh, i havent seen one Vtec prelude hit 14.6 with just i/h/e, on street tires that is.
