ok i have a d16z6 and when i go to start it it starts up but when i give some gas it seems like it bogs alot what could this crap mean???sometimes when it warms up it will rev like normal tho

 

Yoooo the same **** happens too me!! I got the same engine and after everytime it rains I start it up and boom...That clogged up sound for a while than it clears up like normal......

 

yea see mine does it every time i start it weather it does or dont rain

Check if your getting spark in all cylinders. Check/Replace your Dizzy cap/wires/plugs. Are you getting a Cel?

 

no i dont get a cel and i am kinda a newb withm some **** lol but what is a "dizzy" but as far as i know my distribitor cap has a crack and i have all new plugs with wires and it cant be the cap cuz when the car warms it acts fine

 

a dizzy is the distributer, does it idle fine?

 

yeah sounds like it does idles on start up around 1500-1900 then drops to 900-1000 rpm
