dash light issue

i hav a 91 crx si with a zc swap in it and i am using a book light as dash lights and i have checked the bulbs and still not able to get them working . . . ANY IDEAS?

Fuses, wring, maybe the plugs on the switches

When my dash lights went out it was the dimmer switch. I tried to replace it with a part from the pick-n-pull, but it started smoking...and I don't know dookie about wiring.

my dimmer switch just went up too. anyone know of a way to bypass it? i never use it anyway, so instead of having to get another one i want to just go around it all together
